Total sellout 2005/6/7. Viv’s back with more raucous, outlandish
and bizarre opinions. See her now before she’s too old to do it anymore.
'So sharp she could cut herself' Edinburgh
Evening News
VIV is Scottish
Comedy’s favourite aunty – not only with fellow comics but with her
army of followers who hang on her every comedic and poetic word.
Viv began her
career as a comic at a tender age and has been a stalwart of the
circuit ever since.
Her vast experience as a performer and comedic
writer has seen her progress to the status of a demi-goddess in
Scotland
having nurtured the talents of STV’s Des Clarke and Radio Clyde’s Des
McLean through her stand-up comedy courses.
And it’s no surprise she knows a thing or two
about the comedy business given that she appeared in the finals of the
1993 'So You Think Your Funny ?' competition alongside such esteemed names
as Dylan Moran and Steve Furst.
And then two years later at the BBC’s New Comedy
Award Finals in
Edinburgh
she shared a stage with Daniel Kitson, Lee Mack and Silky. She is a master
craftswoman with words and her gentle teasing humour has been a winner
with comedy punters for over a decade now.
Viv has sold out her solo show every year at the
Glasgow International Comedy Festival and this year should be no different
as she returns with more tales, quips, puns and poems. As she says herself
come along before she’s too old to do it anymore.
