2nd August 2007 Ha Ha Comedy is recruiting. Do you love laughing? Do you love making people laugh? Do you want to gain experience working in the events industry? Do you want access to some of the biggest names in comedy? Ha Ha Comedy has opportunities for Freelance Show Managers to help look after performers and stage manage performances at our Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening comedy shows in Glasgow. The successful candidates should be outgoing career driven individuals with high levels of enthusiasm and energy, along with excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. You will gain experience with building relationships, organising all types of events as well as creating and distributing press releases to relevant media. You must be organised, a confident communicator and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a dynamic, motivated team. Knowledge of sound systems and lighting is an advantage, but not necessary as training will be given. You must be available from 7pm until 11.30pm on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evenings.
