CLAP
your hands, stomp your feet, put the howl on top! Currently the
UK
's
most talked about late night comedy show, hosted by the award-winning
comic Andrew Maxwell, transfers from its roots in
London
's
premiere comedy venue The Comedy Store to this year's Magners Glasgow
International Comedy Festival.
Fullmooners
in London has seen Simon Pegg make a return to stand up after 9 years off
the circuit likewise Paul Merton's for 6 years, plus a host of top comics
including Dara O 'Briain, Paul Merton, Russell Brand, Noel Fielding and
Jimmy Carr to name but a few, as well as regular breakdancers and go go
girls.
Fullmooners always
has a very special guest, be it a TV star or an old school comic, and
Maxwell conjures up the kind of atmosphere needed to get these guests
doing the bizarre and unexpected.
A
sell-out run at the Fringe in 2006 secured this as the must-see late show
of the festival and the Fullmooner’s night in
Glasgow
will be no different. Who can argue with a show that throws Jade Goody out
of its’ audience?
