With his deadpan one-liners and easy audience rapport, Mark Bratchpiece is so relaxed on stage to the casual observer it must look effortless. But behind that laconic exterior lies a keen mind and a razor-sharp comedy wit.

Mark hails from Motherwell where he is patriarch of his own comedy dynasty. His age is unknown, but he claims food rationing in his childhood can be blamed on his cynical outlook on life (and an outlook from under 5ft 5ins).
