Neil Lennon with headliner (and Ibrox season ticket holder) Teddy |
It is not the finest picture in the
world but it is proof of something. Last Saturday former Celtic player
(now a coach) Neil Lennon turned up at Uisge Beatha's Half
Price Comedy Club. The jammy sod didn't even have to pay because one of
his pals one had won 10 free tickets at a previous show.
Trying to ride his pals wave of good luck and win a further ten free tickets Neil entered the prize draw. According to compere Chris Broomfield Neil's prize draw comment card read the following "Table Service would be good & can someone walk me up the road after the gig". Good to see he's still got a sense of humour. This Saturday Janey Godley Headlines. We are almost sold out, so get there early if you wish to join the fun. |

| CLAP your hands, stomp your feet, put the howl on top! Currently the UK 's most talked about late night comedy show, hosted by the award-winning comic Andrew Maxwell, returns from its roots in London 's premiere comedy venue The Comedy Store to this year's Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival. Fullmooners has seen Simon Pegg make a return to stand up after 9 years off the circuit likewise Paul Merton's for 6 years, plus a host of top comics including Dara O 'Briain, Paul Merton, Russell Brand, Noel Fielding and Jimmy Carr to name but a few, as well as regular breakdancers and go go girls. Fullmooners always has a very special guest, be it a TV star or an old school comic, and Maxwell conjures up the kind of atmosphere needed to get these guests doing the bizarre and unexpected. The past two Glasgow shows saw Alan Carr & Ed Byrne join the party. Be sure there will be a huge name howl at the moon. Sell-out runs at the Fringe in 2006/7/8 secured this as the must-see late show of the festival and the Fullmooner’s night in Glasgow is no different. Who can argue with a show that throws Jade Goody out of its’ audience? Come Howl at the Moon!
