Janey Godley
Recently nominated for Scotswoman of the year, Janey is an outstanding and famously outspoken stand-up.

Janey’s act is darkly funny and very candid, drawing upon her extraordinary, life story. A natural storyteller, her auto-biography Handstands In The Dark met with huge acclaim and was a bestseller in 2005.

At the Edinburgh Festival in 2004 her show won 40 stars in reviews – more than any other show that year.
In 2006 she won the Spirit Of The Festival Award at the New Zealand International Comedy festival, and made a memorable appearance on BBC Children In Need covering The Proclaimers with singing partner Craig Hill.
