| Every August thousands of comedians from around the globe
AND ENGLAND descend on Edinburgh to re-enact the Highland Clearances
by stopping Scottish Comedians from earning a living.
They bring four weeks of juggling, uni-cycling, pimms drinking and one man versions of Shakespeare/Lord of the Rings/Star Wars. But that's not what we Scots are best at or what we want to watch. No we want the patter, banter, craic – call it what you will – Scots have the best sense of humour in the world, the Scottish comedy scene is great. Each night of the Fringe we showcase four of Scotland's best comedians. It's a different line up each night, which will always feature a previous winner of Scottish Comedian of the Year. Some nights we'll even bring you the English Comedian of the Year as well. Get your rotten fruit ready.
